By way of self-congratulation, we note that over the Thanksgiving holiday the Madison Park Blogger signed up its 400th subscriber. This is in addition to the 200 users who, on average, now visit MPB each day. This all adds up to a readership of between 400 and 600 people for most of our postings, according to statistics from Google Analytics.
We've come a long way in the less-than-three-year history of the Blog, mostly as the result of word of mouth.

ReplyDeleteHow about a series profiling the neighborhood businesses? I know this economy is taking a toll and every bit of free publicity helps for our local shops. You do a very thorough job with the restaurants/eateries, so what about extending that to the other businesses?
I get your point. I plan to occasionally feature local businesses in the coming year, as time and talent permit. It will begin with a reminder to readers of the value of buying locally, since these businesses will not exist without the support of the neighborhood.
